8 Watercolor in Bloom Paper Pumpkin Alternative Cards

Today I’m sharing my alternate cards for the Watercolor in Bloom Paper Pumpkin kit from December.

I typically like to share my Paper Pumpkin alternatives around the 8-10th of the month. But…on Saturday we had a bit of a situation with our refrigerator that required our immediate attention and we’re still working to resolve it…ugh! So I’m posting it late, sorry.

Moving on…this kit makes 9 stunning cards—3 each of 3 designs—featuring watercolor backgrounds, vellum accents, and copper sequins. Perfect for thank-yous, friendship notes, and heartfelt messages. However, if you want to get more out of your kit, I recommended using the coordinating Add-On Abundant Joy Dies (167855) to create tags, flowers and leaf to create some additional cards.

💙 DOstamping Favorites: A Closer Look at Two Standout Cards

As I played with the Watercolor in Bloom kit, two designs truly captured my heart.

• Card A – features a layered tag with a heartfelt sub-greeting—“Dear friend, the little things you do…”—that feels like a quiet hug in card form.
• Card B – showcases a trio-panel layout with lush floral accents and the sentiment “You make me feel loved,” radiating warmth and connection.

  • Secret Sea (5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ card base), Shaded Spruce (3/4″ x 4-1/4″)
• Ink: Night of Navy (from kit)
• Other: Paper Trimmer, Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack

Both cards reflect what I love most about crafting: thoughtful details, soft textures, and messages that linger. Whether you’re sending gratitude or affection, these designs offer a beautiful way to say it.

  • Basic White (3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″)

  • Secret Sea (5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ card base), Garden Green (5/8″ x 4-1/4″)
• Ink: Night of Navy (from kit)
