Today I’m sharing another fun fold card called a Step Fold Easel card.
This card focuses on the Online Exclusive Botanicals Textures Suite and features the Rock & Roll technique for the focal point. It’s surprisingly easy to create. I’ve included instructions for both below.
How’d She DO That? Step Fold Easel Card card
- Stamps: Textured Notes
- Paper:
- Cajun Craze – (5-1/2” x 8-1/2” step card base score at 1-1/4”, 2-1/2”, 5-1/2”)
- Cajun Craze – (3-1/4” x 8-1/2” easel card score at 4-1/4”)
- Basic White – (two of 3” x 4”, 3” square for sentiment)
- Woven Textures Designer Series Paper (1” x 5-1/4”, 2-3/4” x 5-1/4”)
- Ink: Crumb Cake, Cajun Craze, Tuxedo Black Memento
- Other: Simply Scored, 2″ Circle Punch, White 1/4″ Ribbon, Neutral Matte Dots, , Stampin’ Seal, Stampin’ Dimensionals
DOstamping Instructions:
- Adhere Woven Textures Designer Series Paper pieces to 1st and 3rd panel of step card base (with smallest panels towards you).
- Stamp small leafy image repeatedly on top and bottom of a white piece with Cajun Craze ink (some are stamped off). Adhere to easel card front
- Wrap ribbon around easel card front and tie in a bow where shown.
- Ink up basket circle image with Crumb Cake ink and stamp off. Then roll edges of stamp into Cajun Craze ink pad (this is called the Rock & Roll technique), then stamp onto 3” white square. Stamp sentiment with black ink. Cut with 2” Circle Punch and adhere to easel card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Lay both cards flat and adhere together only at the bottom edges.
- Attach dots where shown.
- Optional: Repeat rock & roll technique in the left bottom corner of the 2nd white panel and adhere to back of easel card. (see photo below)
