CASEing the Catalog: Nature Walk Layout Meets Cute as a Bug

Today’s project is all about CASEing the catalog—one of my favorite ways to spark creativity when I want to try something fresh (or I’ve lost my mojo).

While browsing the January – April 2026 Mini Catalog, the Nature Walk card on page 38 (lower right) jumped out at me with its clean lines and easy‑to‑adapt design. I decided to recreate it using Cute as a Bug Designer Series Paper, because a great layout deserves to be played with—and I’m thrilled with how it turned out.

💡DOstamping Tips:

• When CASEing a project, sometimes the measurements can be hard to figure out. But for this one, I was able to figure it out on my first try – yay!!
• Cutting the Designer Series Paper:
  • Pattern #1 – two of 1-1/4″ squares, 2″ square
  • Pattern #2 – two of 1-1/4″ squares, 1-1/4″ x 2″
  • Arrange and adhere to folded card base, as shown.

I’ll definitely be revisiting this layout—it’s one of those hidden gems that works for everything from birthdays to just‑because cards. The Designer Series Paper does the heavy lifting for this CASED card. The layout would be easily adaptable for any suite, season, or stash‑busting session. Give it a try!
