I selected some paper that was a little more masculine, Sweater Weather Designer Series Paper from the 2013 Holiday Catalog. The “love” was die cut using Champagne Glimmer Paper and the new Expressions Thinlits. TIP: As the glimmer paper is so thick – I recommend running it back and forth in your Big Shot several times, maybe even adding a shim.
My card features a trendy stamping technique called, Painter Tape Stamping. All you need is painters tape and ink! I used Lovely as a Tree, but any landscape or floral images would work great with this technique. Check out my “How’d She DO that?” video below.
Have you noticed the Wetlands stamp set on pg 69 of the 2013/2014 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog? Well, I did. The first thing I noticed was the greetings, which I adore! Why? Because I’m fond of greetings that combine both script and printed text. (And you can never have too many greeting stamps!)
