Welcome to Day #7 of my Creative Connections presentation of the Darling Details Bundle.
I took a short break from blogging while I was at a crafting retreat this past weekend. Lots of fun, food, fellowship and crafting was had! I made 16 projects – woohoo! Most with products from the upcoming September – December Mini Catalog (coming September 6th). Which I’ll be sharing later.
In the meantime, today I’m sharing two Christmas Cards. One is a clean and simple card, the other a stepped-up version.
The Clean & Simple card is pretty straight forward. See how…
DOstamping Tips:
- On 4″ x 5-1/4″ Very Vanilla panel, stamp sentiment first.
- Then stamp flower & leaves/greenery images as shown.
- With Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Write Marker, color in berries in the sentiment image and add dots for more berries.
- This card could easily be mass-produced for your holiday cards!
The Stepped-Up card has a few more steps, but a wonderful result! See how:
DOstamping Tips:
- Place the large frame die in the center of the 4″ x 5-1/4″ Very Vanilla panel and die cut using the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. NOTE: if some of the little “dots” from the die cut need a little help releasing, use the Take Your Pick tool and Stampin’ Pierce Mat to remove the rest them.
- On center cut-out piece, stamp the sentiment where shown. Use Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to move color around a little on the leaves and pine bough images.
- Place the stamped center piece back into the large frame die cut. Stamp flower & leaves/greenery images as shown, stamping onto both pieces at the same time. Separate the two pieces.
- Adhere stamped frame piece to folded card base. Then adhere stamped center piece to card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- With Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Write Marker, color in berries in the sentiment image and add dots for more berries.
- Tie a bow into the gold trim. Adhere with a glue dot.
