The other day, I was playing with my FAVORITE French Foliage stamp set (from the Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini Catalog). Actually, I had a specific idea in my head. But as I started stamping - it wasn't looking as good as it did in my head. Does that ever happen to you?
Well, anyways…as I was wiping the stamps on off my scratch paper I accidentally discover something that looked kinda cool. Which made me think, "Hmm…what if I used a leaf stamp to make a Holiday Wreath?"
Dawn's Stamping Tips
All I did was stamp the leaf onto Very Vanilla cardstock in Old Olive Classic Ink, stamping off several times before reinking. I kept doing that in a circle until I got the look I wanted. The "berries" are stamped with Cherry Cobbler using the "splatter" image from the same set. I also added Dazzling Diamonds Glitter to the berries.
Isn't it cool? I love the way it turned out.
Here's a close up.
I finished it off with a Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding Bow (attached with a Mini Glue Dot). The greeting from Curly Cute is stamped using Cherry Cobbler.
