Nov 2010 Control Freaks Tour: Ho Ho Ho Gift Ensemble

Welcome to the November 2010 Tour de Freaks Blog Hop!  This month tour theme is Christmas & Snow, featuring gifts and more, all made with products from Stampin' Up!.   Our tour is nice and short, and features some of your favorite Control Freaks Stampers. You may have just come from my friend Barb Mullikin - welcome!

Woohoo, I'm SO excited to show you my HO, HO HO Gift Ensemble projects today.  I had SO much fun making these, that I just want to share it with someone.  And that someone could be you!  What's a gift – if you don't give it away!  Yes, that means I'm having a drawing!

One of you will be the lucky recipient of my HO HO HO Gift Ensemble!   Leave a comment sharing which one of these HO HO HO projects is your favorite and you'll be entered in the drawing (to take place on Tuesday)!

Now on to my HO, HO HO Gift Ensemble…
For this month's projects, I wanted to use the Northern Frost snowflakes die from the Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini Catalog, but use them in a different way.  I got inspired during a trip down the holiday aisle at a big box store.  I hurried home and this is what I came up with.  I think you're gonna love it!

HO HO HO Gift Card Holder

Gift-Card

I love this style of gift card holder, which was inspired by a swap I received from Connie at Founder's Circle.  The cover slides off and reveals the pocket for a gift card.  (I'll share her original card and measurements with you next week.)  Check out the video HERE

HO HO HO Favor Bag:

Party-Favor

I freakin' (pardon the pun) love these double stacked Fancy Favor Bags (made with the Big Shot)!!!  Next week I'll share some tips on how to cut and make them.  Check out the video HERE.

Last, but not least…the HO HO HO card:

HoHoHoCard

I'm SO lovin' this HO HO HO GIFT ENSEMBLE!

Don't forget to leave a comment to enter the HO HO HO drawing!

  22. Oh what fun it is….. All three are so much fun! I love the snowflake with the coordinating button in the middle. Even though the card is my favorite with the three Ho, Ho, Ho’s I gotta go with the treat bag since it would hold some treats esp. the chocolate nuggets in the coordinating paper! Ha-Ha-Ha! Sorry, couldn’t resist!

  24. Hey, Dawn – I read this first through my google reader and saved it to look at again. It was then that I realized that you were also giving them away…but just know I would have commented anyway! These are FANTASTIC! I love them all, but I think my favorite is the scalloped-bottom bag! I’m going to do that – I can’t wait for exact instructions. It’s a great idea! I need me that snowflake decorative strip! Have a great weekend!

It seems like all the kids want gift cards to do their own shopping these days. Love the chance to win blog candy but would especially like this batch for the holidays!
