Dawns Stamping Tips for Graduation Hat
1.  Use a Wide Oval punch out in Basic Black
2.  Draw a line down the middle from side to side and top to bottom
3.  Then use those marks on all four sides as a guide to cut a "diamond" shape

Dawn, this card is so cute, and the owl is adorable. Have one question though: why couldn’t you just use a punched square and position it on the diagonal for the hat? Seems that would be easier but haven’t tried it so might not look right. Just curious! Thanks.
