Days of Love: #1 Marbled Elegance Suite: Love You Window Card

Over the course of the next week, I'll be sharing my DOstamping Days of Love!  Filled with lots of ideas on how to share the love.

For Day #1's project I have a simple, yet stunning Love You Window card made with the Online Exclusive Marbled Elegance Suite Collection

How'd She DO That? Love You Window card

• Stamps/Bundles: Hearts of Elegance – includes dies
• Paper: 
  • Basic White Thick (5-1/2" x 5-1/2" card base)
  • Basic White (scraps for flowers/leaves stamping/die cutting)
  • Marbled Elegance Designer Series Paper (4" x 5-1/4")
• Ink: Melon Mambo, Garden Green
• Other:  Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, Gold Twisted Thread, Adhesive-Backed Heart Sequins, Foam Adhesive Strips, Mini Glue Dots

This card features a romantic and elegant, but simple design, that reveals the Love You sentiment through a heart die cut window.

DOstamping Tips:

• Create Window:
  • Use 3-1/4” wide heart die (Hearts of Elegance Dies) to cut a window into DSP panel.
  • Save heart die cut for another project.
• Place cut DSP panel (do not adhere yet) onto folded card base and stamp sentiment through window with Melon Mambo ink.  Then adhere DSP to card with Foam Adhesive Strips (around heart shape too).
• On white scraps, stamp (2) leaves with Garden Green ink and (2) flowers with Melon Mambo ink (the 2^nd one is stamped without reinking).  Die cut and adhere together with glue dots, then adhere to card with glue dots.
• Attach (3) small Heart Sequins where shown.

This card is perfect for expressing love, don't you think?
