It's time for another DOstamperSTARS Thursday Challenge! This week it's a Sketch Challenge.
How cute is this? I dare you to not smile at these darling little hedgehogs. They've got a cheerful message and they're so darn cute you cant help but want to put them on everything.
I love hedgehogs and even have a collection of them (stamps, figurines and more). So, of course I was completely over the moon when I saw the new "A Little Smile" single stamp (134351) in the new catalog…not a little smile, but a BIG smile!
Dawn's Cardmaking Tips
- Image is stamped with the new Tuxedo Black Memento ink pad (coming soon), on Whisper White.
- I hand cut around the image – close to the end. (Additional mattes measure 2-7/8" x 3-7/8" Real Red, 3-1/4" x 4-1/2" Crumb Cake)
- I mainly used Stampin' Blendabilities (Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler, Coastal Cabana, & Skin Tone Assortment).
- As we don't carry a lighter or medium brown yet, I got out my Stampin' Write Crumb Cake Marker (120967) and Blender Pen (102845) to color the Hedgehog belly.
- Even the Rhinestone Jewels were colored using Stampin' Blendabilities!
- Pattern paper is from the new Flowerpot Designer Series Paper (133698) – let me just say…cute!! (4" x 5-1/4")
- Add to Whisper White card base of 4-1/4" x 11
I hope these little hedgehogs gave you A Little Smile.

Hey, Dawn, I collect hedgehogs, too. At one point I had more than 200, but I’ve slimmed down a little to just my favorites (too much to dust). Love the stamp, love the card.
