DOstamperSTARS Thursday Challenge #253: Pattern Pumpkins Hello Fall

It's time for another DOstamperSTARS Thursday Challenge. This week we're having a "Home Sweet Home" challenge.

When I saw today's photo inspiration, I knew immediately what I was going to do. I reached for the new Patterned Pumpkins Thinlits Dies (from the 2017 Holiday Catalog). Plus, I got a chance to play a little bit with the new Stampin' Blends – coming November 1 – yay! Here's what I came up with…

Patterned Pumpkins Hello Fall measurements & tips:

Stamps: Merry Cafe (for greeting)
Paper:
- Cajun Craze = 4-1/2" x 11" (card base), 4" x 5-1/4", and scrap for Pattern Pumpkins Thinlits
- Very Vanilla = 2-1/8" Stitched Shapes Framelit square, and scrap for greeting
- Soft Suede = 2-1/4" Layering Squares Framelit scallop, and scrap for swirl die
- Always Artichoke = scrap for leaf die
- Wood Texture Designer Series Paper = 1-1/2" x 4" (part of Buy 3, Get 1 FREE sale)
Ink: Soft Suede
Other: Big Shot, Pattern Pumpkins Thinlits, Stitched Shapes Framelit , Layering Squares Framelit, Classic Label Punch, Linen Thread, Mini Stampin' Dimensionals, Fine Tip Glue Pen
Tip:
- Adhere the pumpkin die cut just a little bit off the left edge with the Fine Tip Glue Pen.
- Once dry, trim off the excess

Wondering where I used the Stampin' Blends?

Because Stampin' Blends are an alcohol-based marker, you can use them to color our pearls and rhinestones. I used the Bronze Stampin' Blends to color a couple of medium size Basic Pearl Jewels. It was the perfect color for this card – almost a coppery look. I can't wait to play with them some more. You can order them beginning November 1st. Watch for more details then.
