Here's another DOstamperSTARS Camp-a-Rama Event project that was a big hit…the super easy Scentasational Season Cocoa Packet Holder. According to DOstamperSTAR Laurie Zoellmer…it was a big WOW and she can't stop talking about it.
For this project, I enlisted the help of fellow demonstrator, sideline Jolene Jacobs. I designed the cocoa packet and she added the stamping. What a great team!
And yes – I did make a video. In fact…it's my 10-Minute Tuesday Video (that I know many of you have been asking when I would be doing these again. I'm gonna try my best to get back on track. I didn't realize that you guys LOVED them and was missing them.)
What's a 10-Minute Tuesday video? That's when I videotape a project from beginning to end. They generally take longer for me to videotape and edit. For my other videos, I usually only share tips and how-to's that don't seem obvious from the project photo.

I've received lots of inquiries regarding the candy sticks. The chocolate covered candy sticks are called "Peppermint Sticks" by Bodgon's Chocolates. I found them at Walmart.
updated 8/31: Also found at Oriental Trading
Here's some more pictures from the event…
Jolene demonstrating the how to stamp the mug in two colors and sharings LOTS of Scentsational Season ideas!
Somehow this was the messiest station. Hard to even find the sample on the table. No matter…it still was fun!

Laurie is right – this cocoa packet is TOO CUTE!!!! what a fun holiday treat – even for my college guys! and a great carry-over into January as a holiday thank-you! Thx for making the video. And kudos to Jolene, too – was sad to have missed seeing her in August!
Could you tell me what section of Walmart you found the peppermint sticks? I searched the candy section but could not find them.
Denise – They were in the aisle with gum, licorice, large packaging of nuggets, kisses, etc. Hopefully they will stock them soon with the upcoming holidays. Also try doing a search for Bogdon’s Peppermint Sticks.

Hi Dawn!
Thanks for sharing your great tutorial. I went ahead and CASED it for one of my workshops and now I posted the results on my blog together with your video. I hope you don’t mind that I made a written translation into German for my guests and blog readers since some of them find it hard to follow English instructions.
Thanks again,
Judith
Hi Dawn,
This is such an adorable project!!!! Thanks for making the video, it makes it so easy to understand how it is put together. I was hoping I could CASE this for my “I’m Dreaming of a PINK Christmas” Breast Cancer Awareness stamp camp. May I have your permission? I really think my friends would love this as much as I do. If you do give me permission, may I also link to your card & video on my blog?
Peace, Love & Joy,

Making these today….but I “lost” my candy cane stamp (or Gunner ate it)…so my mugs have “solid” color candy canes. They are still SUPER cute, thanks for the inspiration!
