Golden Greenery Masked Technique Card

Today I'm sharing a Masked Technique card using the Online Exclusive Golden Greenery stamp set 

This card was designed for a class for my DOstamperSTARS team members who completed our Monthly Creative Challenge.  Each month I hand out a series of creative challenges and if they complete (and share) six of them, they'll get the class.  It's great for both hobbyists and business builder alike.  They get ideas for their own classes and they get to learn & stretch their creative muscles. 

How'd She DO That? Masked Golden Greenery card

• Stamps: Golden Greenery, Greetings of the Season (both Online Exclusives)
• Paper:
  • Cherry Cobber (11" x 4-1/4" card base, 2-3/8” x 3-5/8)
  • Very Vanilla (two of 4” x 5-1/4” (one is for inside) , 2-1/4” x 3-1/2” for sentiment) 
  • Any Color (2-1/2” x 3-3/4” for MASK)
• Ink: Old Olive, Garden Green, Cherry Cobbler
• Other:  Very Vanilla ¾” Satin Ribbon (Online Exclusive), Stampin' Seal & Stampin' Dimensionals

DOstamping Tips:

1. Temporarily adhere mask to center of Very Vanilla panel. I used one swipe of seal in the middle and rubbed some of the sticky off.
2. Use Golden Greenery stamp set to stamp around edges of panel and over edges of mask, as follows:
   • Solid pine bough = Old Olive
   • Detailed pine bough = Garden Green
   • Berries = Cherry Cobbler
   • Remove mask
3. Wrap Very Vanilla 3/4" Satin Ribbon around stamped panel and tie in a knot at the left edge. Then adhere to folded card base.
4. On small Very Vanilla piece, use Greetings of the Season stamp set to stamp sentiment with Cherry Cobbler ink. Adhere to Cherry Cobbler piece and then to card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

This was fun to stamp, like creating a frame.  It would be nice for home decor too!
