Get out your Circle Collection Framelits for today's Happy St. Patrick's Day card. Brought to you by Max & Sam (with an assist by me, Umma!)
Last week when we were moving, Max pleaded with me to make a St. Patrick's Day card. It's hard to turn him down, but it was moving day and cardmaking just wasn't going to happen. I promised him we'd get it done by the time he needed it. So, guess what we did yesterday?
We started on a rainbow first (he wanted a leprechaun, rainbow and pot of gold. We hit 2 out of 3 – that ain't too bad.) I showed Max first, then he showed Sam.
The circles were all adhered together and then cut in half, getting 2 rainbows from each circle collection.
Next was the pot o' gold, grass, cloud & greeting that uses the following:
- 120907 Decorative Label Punch
- 119857 Word Window Punch
- 118309 Itty Bitty Shapes Punch
- 121045 Basic Black Cardstock
- 133512 Gold Envelope Liner from the "Good As Gold" Card Kit (free with $50 order, ends 3/31)
- 133325 Fringe Scissors
- 113439 Big Shot
- 132968 Word Bubble Framelits
- 133520 Decorative Dots TIEF (free with $50 order, ends 3/31)
- Teeny Tiny Wishes (128748w or 127802c)
What fun we had. Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Enjoy~Dawn O

what sweet pictures….& some great memories, I’m sure…. I loved seeing them ‘play with paper’….lol.. Cute card too….
What a fun card. So glad you had fun with Max & Sam making the cards. Adorable photos of the boys.
Love the pictures of the boys. So much fun, love the card.
WOW!! Adorable cards but even more adorable are those two fabulous helpers. How cute they are and, by the look on their handsome faces, they had a blast using grandma’s toys.
Thank you for showing this fantastic St. Patrick’s Day card, it’s going into my “Fabulous Cards” folder.
everything’s so cute about this post; TFS!
Thanks for the HUGE smile on SPDay:) Great card – good job boys!!!
Wow, what a great card idea. Well done boys, good job.
Too absolutely adorable!
Cards to be very proud of; And the cardmakers, too! And yourself, especially after moving just last week – the kids must love spending time with you (I would).
How Cute are those Boys…. too Cute….
Those DID turn out adorable, good job Umma!!! Those two are so cute 🙂
What a beautiful card!! What colors did u use for the rainbow and how did u cut through 7 layers??
Thanks everyone!
Beth – the rainbow is Real Red, Tangerine Tango, Crushed Curry, Gumball Green, Pacific Point, Night of Navy and Elegant Eggplant. For the cutting – I have a heavy duty cutter. Or – if you have a rotary style paper trimmer – that should work going back and forth a few times.
