Welcome to Day #7, my last day of my Week of Sweet Days of Autumn. I’m sharing inspiration for the new Sweet Days of Autumn products from the Scrapbooking Brochure.
When I think of autumn, besides leaves and fall colors, I think of quilts and baskets. Today’s card is a nod to that. This quick & cute card comes together fast and great for pattern paper scraps.
How’d She DO That? Weaved Card
- Stamps: Autumn to Remember
- Paper:
- Cajun Craze (8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ card base)
- Basic White (3-3/4″ x 5″)
- Autumn to Remember Two Tone Early Espresso – light (3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″)
- Sweet Days of Autumn Designer Series Paper (3/8″ x 5-1/4″ four different strips )
- Ink: Cajun Craze
- Other: Faux Glass Dots , Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin’ Seal
DOstamping Tips:
- On white panel, arrange and “weave” the four strips of Sweet Days of Autumn Designer Series Paper. Then adhere with Multipurpose Liquid glue. Trim off any excess from edges.
- Stamp sentiment with Cajun Craze ink using Autumn to Remember stamp set.
- Adhere completed panel to Autumn to Remember Two Tone Cardstock, Early Expresso (light). Then adhere to folded card base.
- Attach my favorite Faux Glass Dots.
I will definitely be making more weave style cards in the near future. It’s a fabulous layout for large sentiments!
