Last Day for Designer Tin of Cards, Max’s Cards!

It's the final hours of the 2016-2017 Annual Catalog!  Hard to believe that tomorrow is the start of the new catalog…wow!

This past weekend, I stamped with my grandson, May.  We used one of my all-time favorite kits, the Designer Tin Of Cards Project Kit [141651].  It's on sale for only $18.90 (that's 30% off)…for a storage tin and 16 cards – wow!!  At that price, you can stock up or even give them as gifts!

Who says organization has to be boring? This fun printed tin gives you plenty of room to store the cards that you make from this kit, plus room for more. Kit includes tin and enough card bases, accents, and envelopes for 16 cards, 4 each of 4 designs.  Stamps, ink, adhesive and stamp set sold separately.

Designer Tin Of Cards Project Kit [141651] includes:

  • 16 card bases and envelopes, Printed tin box with lid, 6-3/4" x 4" x 5-3/8", File tab dividers, Printed die-cut images, Die-cut Designer Series Paper and vellum sheets, White cardstock tags with gold foil print, Washi tape, Baker’s Twine, Sequins, Gold paper clips

Additional products needed:

After we were done making the kit cards, he wanted to make a card of his own design.  I don't generally bring too many supplies with me, so he had me hopping a little bit to find just the right things for his cards.  Though, he mostly used the leftover supplies from the kit.  Take a look…

Max turned 10 a few months ago (and his brother Sam is 8).  He recently got glasses and looks so grown up.  He was really excited to stamp with me.  Each time we thought his cards were done, he thought of something else he wanted to add.  The final addition was the small balloons on the inside of the card.  He wanted to make sure that I told you, "he purposely left some space on the left side for you to add your own message".  Didn't he do a great job?  He'd love it if you left a comment for him.

We had so much fun stamping together…nothing is better!

It's the final hours of the 2016-2017 Annual Catalog!  Get your favorites tonight before they are gone for good – ends at 11:50pm (MT) tonight, 5/31!

For shopping from the new catalog tomorrow, the online store will be unavailable starting at midnight and should be back up & ready to shop from starting at noon, June 1st.  My blog will be updated with the new catalog information, wish lists and more, so be sure to check back tomorrow!

Enjoy~Dawn O

  1. Great job, Max. I think it is so nice that you stamped the insides AND outsides of your cards. I try to remember to do the insides myself, but sometimes I forget. I like your glasses. My grandson wears glasses too. We think he looks very smart in them and you do too. I have an eye appointment in the morning. I need stronger lenses myself! Keep stamping — you’re a natural!

  2. Max, what a great job with your cards! I would never have guessed that you are 10…the cards you created looked as though they were created by a grown-up. Great job. Your glasses make you look very distinguished. Have fun creating.

  4. Fantastic cards, Max. Very creative and perfect stamping–no shadows! I have three grandchildren who like to stamp with me; I’m sure your grandmother enjoys having you stamp with her as much as I enjoy having my grandchildren stamp with me.

  5. Max,
I really like your cards. You selected beautiful colors and I especially love the extra steps you did on the inside. I think that adds a nice touch to the card. Creating cards is such a wonderful way of expressing yourself and I think you do that very well.
    Have a nice day .

I really like the blank side idea for an additional message. I know the person receiving your card will be happy to receive it!

  7. Hi Max,
Wow, are you creative or what. I wish I could come up with ideas like yours. I know your Grandma is proud of you and so are we. I hope you do more stamping and share with us!!

  8. Way to go Max! Your cards are very creative👏. I think you have had a great teacher. Perhaps your Grandma can type up a list of your relatives birthdays and addresses so you can mail out your super cards! Your glasses are very handsome. Have a fun summer vacation😎🎣🏊🏻🚴🏻⚾️

  9. Hi Max,
I think you did a great job making those cards. Your stamping is so much better than I do! The colors you chose will make anybody who gets your cards happy. If your grandma is the one who taught you to stamp, she is a very good teacher. Keep on stamping!!

  10. Hi, Max!
What cool cards you created! You have a great knack for paper crafting and a great teacher. I’d love to teach my grandsons the art of cardmaking, but they have too many sports activities as well as school to take up their free time. They keep me busy attending their many activities. Keep on stamping and give your grandmother a big hug for teaching you.
    Blessings,

  11. Hi Max,
I hope you are still checking for comments. You did a great job with your cards. They are very well stamped and also fun to look at. I’m sure whoever you give them to will love them. I think you get some artistic ability from your grandmother!
