Today I'm sharing a sympathy card made with the Thoughtful Expressions Stamp Set, only sale for 15% off today!

How'd She DO That? Thoughtful Express Sympathy card

• Stamps: Thoughtful Expressions (15% off)
• Paper:
  • Thick Basic White (11" x 4-1/4" card base) 
  • Basic White (3-1/2" square to die cut largest Stylish Shapes circle die) 
  • Fresh Freesia (3-1/2" x 3-3/4" die cut with your favorite embossing folder, 4" x 5-1/4")
• Ink:  Tuxedo Black Memento, Fresh Freesia, Granny Apple Green
• Other:  Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine, Stylish Shapes Dies, Small Blending Brushes, Iridescent 1/2" Striped Trim, Iridescent Faceted Gems, Stampin' Seal, Stampin' Dimensionals

DOstamping Tips:

• The coloring for this card came together really quick by using Blending Brushes.
• I wanted a soft color for the flowers/leaves.  Even though the colors I used fairly light colors, when inking Blending Brushes the ink can transfer darker than you might think.
• It's best to lightly tap brush to ink pad and then tap off some ink on scratch paper first before adding to the flowers. 
• Practice a little bit and you'll get what you're looking for.

• Bring a little bit of your card to the inside.
• I don't think I play with Blending Brushes enough, as I really like the way this turned out.  Will have to reach for them more often
