Mystery Stamping with the DOstamperSTARS

Today I’m sharing some cards that I created inspired by a layout that caught my eye at a recent event and turned it into a sketch.   In addition, it was used at our recent DOstamperSTARS Mystery Stamp, Share & Chat Zoom meeting (for our mystery stamping).

If you’ve ever stared at a blank card base wondering where to begin, today’s post is for you!  Whether you’re a seasoned stamper or just dipping your toes into cardmaking, this layout offers a simple yet versatile triangular cutout design foundation to build on.

✂️How’d She DO That? Floral Charm Suite – Birthday Wishes card

• Stamps/Bundles: Charming Day Bundle – includes dies
• Paper:
  • Bubble Bath (8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ card base, 3” x 4-1/4”)
  • Basic White (scrap for Nested Essentials label die cut)
  • Pretty Peacock (scrap for two leaf die cuts)
  • Floral Charm Designer Series Paper (2-3/4″ x 4″ floral, 3″ x 4″ Blackberry Bliss – diagonal cut from top left corner to bottom right corner)
• Ink: Blackberry Bliss
• Other:  Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, Nested Essentials Dies, Charming Shimmer Gems, Linen Thread, Stampin’ Seal, Glue Dots & Stampin’ Dimensionals

🎨 DOstamping Design Details That Delight

• When working with a sketch like this, I recommend reaching for a SUITE.
  • All of your choices (color, ink, cardstock, pattern paper and accessories) become focused and make the card making process go faster.
• Designer Series Paper is a must for this Sketch.  With our double sided paper:
  • floral designs (side A) make for a fabulous focal point,
  • while subtle designs (side B) are perfect for the background layer.
• The horizontal sentiment strip (from Nested Essentials Dies) anchors the greeting.
• For warmth and added charm, select matching ribbon & accessories.
