Paper Pumpkin: 7 Hello Spring Alternatives

Today I’m sharing 7 Paper Pumpkin Alternatives using the February 2025 Hello Spring Kit!

I had SO much fun creating alternate cards with this kit.  I finally had to stop after 7 cards (of which several you could make multiples)

Card #1: A clean and simple card

• Card Base: Basic Beige
• Layer: Old Olive (3″ x 4-1/4″)
• Sentiment: Basic Beige (5/8″ x 7/8″)
• Ink: Petunia Pop
• Embellishment: Faux Glass Dots
• TIP: cut long pink banner in half length-wise

Card #2: Trio of Squares

• Card Base: Old Olive
• Layers: Old Olive printed card base (2″ x 4″), beige printed card base (3/4″ x 5-1/2″)
• Ink: Old Olive
• Tools: Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, Stylish Shapes Dies (2nd smallest square)
• Embellishment: Faux Glass Dots
• TIP: see photo below

Card #3: Happy Easter

• Card Base: Lost Lagoon
• Layers: blue printed card base (2-1/4″ x 4-1/4″), Lost Lagoon (1/4″ x 2-3/4″)
• Ink: Lost Lagoon
• Embellishment: Faux Glass Dots

Card #4: Hello Spring Flower Pot

• Card Base: Lost Lagoon
• Layers: blue printed card base (2″ x 4″), Lost Lagoon (1/4″ x 1-1/8″)
• Sentiment: Basic Beige (3/4″ x 1-3/4″)
• Ink: Lost Lagoon
• Embellishment: Rhinestone Basic Jewels 
• TIP: to cut flower pot, use another striped piece as a template to cut opposite angle (bottom of pot is 1″)

Card #5: Sending Love Flower Pot

• Card Base: Old Olive
• Layers: Olive Olive card base (2″ x 4 “), Petunia Pop (1/4″ x 1-1/8”, scrap for banner die cut)
• Ink: Old Olive, Petunia Pop
• Embellishment: Faux Glass Dots
• Tools: Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, Stylish Shapes Dies (largest banner die – after die cutting, cut in half)
• TIP: to cut flower pot, use another striped piece as a template to cut opposite angle (bottom of this pot is 1-1/8″)

Card #6: Flower Trio

• Card Base: Basic Beige
• Layers: beige card base (4″ x 5-1/4″), Basic Beige (three of 1-3/” x 2-5/8″), Petunia Pop (1/4″ x 2-3/4″)
• Sentiment: ( 3/4″ x 2-3/5″ cut ends with Happy Labels Pick a Punch)
• Ink: Old Olive, Petunia Pop
• Embellishment: Rhinestone Basic Jewels 
• Tools: Happy Labels Pick a Punch

Card #7: Sending Love

• Card Base: Basic Beige
• Layers: Old Olive (3-1/4″ square), Petunia Pop (2-1/4″ x 4-1/4″), Basic White (scrap for die cut)
• Ink: Old Olive, Petunia Pop, Basic Beige
• Embellishment: Rhinestone Basic Jewels 
• Tools: Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, Stylish Shapes Dies (2-1/2″ circle)

• Subscribe February 11–March 10 (noon MT)
