Revisiting a Sketch with Delicate Framing Bundle

Sometimes a sketch is just too good not to revisit—and today’s card is a perfect example of how a familiar layout can take on a whole new personality with fresh papers, dies, punches and embellishments from the newly released November Online Exclusives!

Here’s the Sketch: (also found here)

DOstamping Sketch from Dawn Olchefske, #DOstamping #HowdSheDOthat #cardmaking

This time, I paired the cozy charm of Hobby Haven Designer Series Paper with the flower details of the Delicate Framing Bundle to create a layered card that’s both playful and refined. It’s a celebration of creativity, comfort, and the joy of handmade touches.

Delicate Framing Dies

  • These ornate, detailed frames bring an heirloom style to your handmade cards, making them perfect for special occasions, thoughtful moments, and heartfelt messages.
  • Combine the die designs with layers of colored cardstock and sentiment stamps for custom creations.
  • But my favorite is…the flowers & leaf dies. Perfect for that little extra finishing touch!

DOstamping Tips:

  • For flower, die cut the larger flower and leaves with Petal Pink and Garden Green scraps.
  • For small flower, add Petal Pink ink (using a Small Blending Brush) to a scrap of Petal Pink before die cutting.
  • Assemble flower with Multipurpose Liquid Glue
  • Use the Black .04 Stampin’ Journaling Pens to add a “dot” to the flower center. This is my new favorite tool for adding small details.

Not only does the sentiment remind me of the song (by Tina Turner), but it reminds me of many people in my life who are “simply the best“!
