Today I have a unique card to share using the beautiful Sale-a-Bration Favored Flowers Designer Series Paper (FREE with $50 order).
What makes this card unique is the easy Torn Window technique, that allows a peek at what's behind the "curtain".
How'd She DO That? Favored Flowers Torn Window card
- Stamps: Go To Greetings
- Paper:
- Mossy Meadow (8-1/2" x 5-1/2" card base)
- Basic White (3-7/8" x 5-1/8")
- Fresh Freesia (4" x 5-1/4")
- Favored Flowers Designer Series Paper (2-1/2" x 4") -
- Ink: Mossy Meadow
- Stampin' Blends:
- Other: Iridescent Rhinestones, Stampin' Seal, Glue Dots
DOstamping Tips:
- About 3/4" – 1" up from bottom of white piece, tear an window opening about 2" or less wide. DO NOT tear the piece off.
- On the piece that is torn away from edge, remove about half. (So it will be less bulky with rolled)
- With the remaining half, roll up until you reach the opposite edge. Secure with Glue Dots. Using a pencil or narrow wooden dowel/skewer helps to get the "roll" going.
- I tried one with stamping the sentiment prior to tearing and another one with stamping afterwards. I prefer stamping the sentiment before, then I know where to tear.
