Today I’m sharing 6 Paper Pumpkin Alternatives using the May 2025 Kit, Mountain Majesties.

How’d She DO That? Mountain Majesties – uses Mossy Meadow/Petal Pink kit card base

Card 1A – Happy Birthday Mosaic

  • Paper:
    • Cut open kit card base horizontally at 4″ down from the top (discard bottom section)
      • From back section, cut off three 1″ x 4″ strip –  start cutting from left edge (save leftover section for card 1B)
      • Then cut each 1″ strip into 1″ squares (12 squares)
    • Lost Lagoon (5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ card base)
    • Basic White (3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″, scrap for label die cut)
    • Mossy Meadow (3-3/4″ x 4″)
  • Ink:  Mossy Meadow
  • Other: Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, Hugs Abloom Dies, Linen Thread, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Glue Dots

Card 1B – You Mean the World to Me – book fold

  • Paper:
    • Trim 4″ x 5-1/4″ leftover kit card base as follows:
      • Trim off 1/4″ from both right and left edges
      • Then cut along the score line (ending up with 4″ square and 1″ x 4″ strip)
    • Mossy Meadow (4-1/4″ x 11″ card base score at 4-1/4″ & 5-1/2″ for a book fold)
    • Basic White (scrap for label die cut)
  • Ink: Mossy Meadow
  • Other: Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, Hugs Abloom Dies, Linen Thread, Glue Dots

How’d She DO That? Mountain Majesties – uses the Lost Lagoon w/trees kit card base

Card 2A – Thank you

  • Paper:
    • Cut kit card base in half along score line. Cut back portion in half at 2-1/8″ (save other 2-1/8″ piece for card 2B)
    • Lost Lagoon (5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ card base)
    • White rectangle die cut (from kit)
    • Sentiment die die cut (from kit)
  • Ink: none
  • Other: Neutral Matte Dots, Stampin’ Dimensionals

Card 2B – Happy Father’s Day

  • Paper:
    • Piece saved from card 2B – trim down to 2-1/8″ x 4″
    • Envelope (from kit) – trim down to 4″ x 5-1/4″
    • Lost Lagoon (5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ card base)
  • Ink:  Misty Moonlight (from kit)
  • Other: Neutral Matte Dots

How’d She DO That? Mountain Majesties – uses the Pecan Pie & blue kit card base

Card 3A – To a Wonderful Man

  • Paper:
    • Cut kit card base in half along score line (save front piece for card 3B)
      • Cut back piece horizontally at 3-1/2″ from the bottom (discard top section)
      • Cut a 3″ section, then cut off 1-1/4″ section – leaving a 1/2″ strip
    • Pecan Pie (5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ card base)
    • Misty Moonlight (1″ x 3-1/2″)
    • Crumb Cake (3-1/4″ x 3-3/4″)
    • Basic White (scrap for label die cut)
  • Ink: Misty Moonlight (from kit)
  • Other: Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, Hugs Abloom Dies, Pressed Flower Motifs, Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Card 3B – You’re the Greatest

  • Paper:
    • From front piece of kit card base (leftover from card 3A)
      • Trim off a 3-1/4″ tall by 3-1/2″ wide section from left bottom corner
      • Cut off strips starting at the left: 1-1/4″, 1″, 3/4″, leaving 1/2″
    • Pecan Pie (5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ card base)
    • Vellum from kit or Misty Moonlight (2-3/4″ x 4-1/4″)
    • Crumb Cake (1/2″ x 4-3/4″)
  • Ink: Misty Moonlight (from kit)
  • Other: Pressed Flower Motifs, Stampin’ Dimensionals
