#SSC048: Pretty Postage Challenge Thursday Sketch Pad

The first thing I thought of when I saw this week's DOstamperSTARS Thursday Challenge Sketch was the NEW Stampin' Up! Postage Stamp Punch (#122344).  So, I went with it!  I paired it with the with new Summer Mini, four-piece stamp set called Pretty Postage.  SSC048

What do you think?  I actually like the way it turned out.  The one thing about a sketch, it provides a great place to start.  On this card – I was having trouble incorporating the horizontal strip near the bottom of the sketch.  Instead of paper – I got out my favorite 5/8" Whisper White Organza Ribbon and voila…it seemed to bring it all together!

  1. Dawn,
You rocked this challenge! The sketch looks really busy but your card didn’t turn out that way at all. I just love the colors and the ribbon takes it up a notch. Great job! Thanks for the tip on the ribbon too. What a deal.
