So…are you like me? Do you wander through stores thinking, oh that would make a cute stamping project? Or oh, that would be a fun packaging idea! I always seem to have my stamping "thinking hat" on. So when I was at our local grocery store a few months ago, I came across some Got Milk?, Magic Milk Flavoring Straws and just had to get some.
With Punch Art as the swap theme for our DOstamperSTARS Monthly Get-Together last week, I thought about those straws and decided on a COW! With Stampin' Up! Punches, the cow turned out great. In fact, I'm giddy with excitement on how stinkin' adorable he turned out. I think we're gonna use them for my grandson's Max's birthday party this month.
If you look closely, you'll see that I used the Owl Builder punch. Who knew, that an owl could be a cow! He, he!
Here's the recipe for:
COW PUNCH ART
Below is the the package of Milk Flavoring Straws. I found them by the Dairy Section in my local grocery store.

this is absolutely darling… Loved the video and appreciate the tutorial.. Only question I would have is, what did you use for the horns?
Mz. Cookie: The horns are part of the Owl already. the “back” owl with the black ears attached (shown in the video)
This IS just too stinkin’ cute! Gonna have to make up some hootie-cutie cows! Thanks so much for this!

STOP IT!!! This is WAYYY too cute! You continue to amaze me!
Have a great Easter! See you a couple of weeks in Orlando! Can’t wait!
This is so udderly comical! It “moo”ved me to the giggles! Then, when I found out it was made with the owl punch I laughed even more! This will be so fun to make – how about some malted milk balls? Sorry, I haven’t been very good at commenting – but this really tickled my fancy! Thanks for all your great work and a fun blog.
How ridiculously adorable! Thanks so much for sharing this, Dawn!
Oh my! super super cute!!! Never would have thought to make a cow with the owl punch! Simply awesome! 🙂 Thanks for sharing!
Being from Wisconsin, America’s so called “Dairyland,” I must say this is absolutely adorable! Just might have to CAS this!
All the “good” comments have been made, but man, my cheeks are hurting from how big I am smiling. ‘Nother demo from the Dairyland here, and I think that cow is one of the funniest and most moooo-velous punch art critters I’ve seen in a while. Trying to think of how I can tie him into a Mother’s Day card class.
Dawn – this is so Stinkin’ CUTE! I’ve made a couple of them already and can’t wait to share them with my girls! Thank you so much for all your talent and for sharing it with us!
Dawn, I just LOVE your creativity! Thank you so much for sharing this udderly delicious punch idea! WHOOO would have known you could make a cow from the owl punch? Well done!
