Autumn is definitely in the air here in Minnesota! Today's card takes a nod from a song performed by Nat King Cole called Autumn Leaves (take a listen, it's so beautiful) and Stampin' Up!'s Autumn Spice Specialty Designer Series Paper.
Here are the lyrics:
The falling leaves
Drift by the window
The autumn leaves
Of red and gold
I see your lips
The summer kisses
The sunburned hands
I used to hold
Since you went away
The days grow long
And soon I'll hear
Old winter's song
But I miss you most of all
My darling
When autumn leaves
Start to fall
I took my inspiration from the very first line, "The falling leaves drift by the window".
I hope you enjoyed this musically inspired project. I look forward to sharing more of these with you in the future. If you're so inclined…use today's "Autumn Leaves" Music Inspiration to make a card of your own. I invite you to share a link to your card in my comments section.
Have fun and enjoy the music!!

Love this song!
Great card for the challenge Dawn! That paper is yummy!!!
I couldn’t believe it when I saw your card today – yesterday I had in my mind that I wanted to do a card with 4 matted squares, just like this! I changed mine to be 4 squares along the bottom of the card instead, but never finished it! How weird is that? Anyway, now I don’t want to finish because your card is SPECTACULAR! It truly is exactly what I had in mind. My desk and office look tornadic at the moment…not sure what to do. Anyway, your card is lovely and thanks for sharing it!
loved the card and how could someone not love to listen to the silky voice of Nat King Cole…. ty for sharing….
CLEVER! Love the song and the card!
