Stamping with the STARS #367 Designer Series Paper: Bloom Where You’re Planted

The DOstamperSTARS are excited to bring you another Stamping with the STARS Inspiration Hop #DOswts367.  This week we’re sharing a Designer Series Paper inspiration.

I hope you’re not getting tired of my Bloom Where You’re Planted cards.  As I have another one for you today.  It uses one of my favorite layouts.

How’d She DO That? Bloom Where You’re Planted 9-Square card:

  • Stamps/Bundle: Plentiful Plants Bundle
  • Paper:
    • Evening Evergreen  (4-1/4″x 11” card base, score & fold 5-1/2”; and scrap for leaf die)
    • Smoky Slate (3-1/4” square)
    • Basic White (scrap for pot die cut, 1-1/2” x 3-1/2” for basket hanger die cut, ½” x 2” for sentiment)
    • Just Jade (scrap for plant die cut)
    • Bloom Where You’re Planted Designer Series Paper- 15% off (3-1/4″ x 4-1/4″, three 1” squares from three different gray patterns = 9 squares)
  • Ink:  Evening Evergreen, Cinnamon Cider
  • Other: Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, Perfect Plants Dies, Linen Thread, Genial Gems , Stampin’ Dimensionals, Stampin’ Seal

DOstamping Tips:

  • I chose three different “gray” patterns to resemble a tiled background and I love the look of it!
  • Arrange the nine 1″squares onto the Smoky Slate square.
  • For adhering, I like to start in the lower corner.  Then adhere the opposite corner, then middle.  Continue around the outside edges, then finish with the center piece.

The Bloom Where You’re Planted is part of the current Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper Promotion.  Add it to your shopping cart today at 15% off!

Enjoy~Dawn O

  1. Every time I see one of your cards with this set I feel more drawn to purchasing it and I had made up my mind that I wasn’t going to get it! The macrame hangers bring back memories of making those darn things back in the 70’s.
