Stamping with the STARS #399: Framed & Festive Gift Tags

The DOstamperSTARS are excited to bring you another Stamping with the STARS Inspiration Hop #DOswts399.  This week this we’re sharing Tags or Bookmarks inspiration.

I decided to make tags.  We can always use tags at our house, as we give gifts of holiday breads.

The “from our home to yours” is the perfect sentiment for food gifts.  Which is from the exclusive Framed & Festive stamp set (available until January 4 or while supplies last).  It’s my super favorite holiday sentiments stamp set.

How’d She DO That? Holiday Gift Tags card

  • Stamps: Framed & Festive
  • Paper:
    • Basic White Thick (2″ x  4-1/4″ tag)
    • Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper (two strips of 3/4″ x 2″)
  • Ink: Evening Evergreen
  • OtherLabel Me Lovely PunchVery Best Trio Punch, Real Red & Garden Green 3/8″ Ribbon Combo Pack, Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack, Flat Jingle Bells, Stampin’ Seal.

DOstamping  Punch Tips:

  • Use the Label Me Lovely Punch to cut the decorative edge at the top of the tag.
    • Insert a 2″ x  4-1/4″ tag piece into punch from top (as normal).
    • BUT, as it comes through the punch, lift the bottom edge up and over the outside of the punch (see photo).
    • Continue to pull through until you see the other edge of the tag.
    • Then push back in slightly (until you no longer see the edge) and punch.
  • Use the Very Best Trio Punch to cut a “ribbon slot” at the top of the tag.

Be sure to get the Framed & Festive stamp set  before supplies run out.  While shopping, be sure to pick up your favorite Designer Series Paper and Punches.  Then you’ll be all set to create your own holiday gift tags!

Thank you for choosing to shop with me!

Enjoy~Dawn O

  1. Love these tags. I love the flat jingle bells too. Now, I can use them up as I plan on making some of these fabulous tags too. Thanks for the idea of using that punch, I forget about that tip. Happy holidays if I don’t pop in again for awhile.
