Stamping with the STARS #436: Sketch with Nests of Winter

The DOstamperSTARS are excited to bring you another Stamping with the STARS Inspiration Hop #DOswts436.  Today it's our pleasure share a Sketch Inspiration with you.

For today's sketch, I reached for the Nests of Winter Suite Collection of products.  

Sometimes the hardest part of doing a sketch is to decide which products you want to use.  As I had just finished sorting for my product shares, by husband noted that the Nests of Winter Designer Series Paper was his favorite.  (Yep – my husband actually sorts all of my pattern paper and then I cut it up.) 

So that's what I chose for today.  It was a good choice, don't you think?

How'd She DO That? Nests of Winter Sketch card

  • Gray Granite (5-1/2" x 8-1/2" card base, 5/8" x 2-3/8 sentiment, scrap for 2-7/8" Deckled Circle die cut) 
  • Nests of Winter Designer Series Paper (DSP) (4" x 5-1/4" horizontal birch pattern, 3" x 4" trees/birds pattern, scrap for large bird pattern 2-1/2" Stylish Shapes circle die cut)
• Ink: Tuxedo Black Memento
• Other:  Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine, Deckled Circles Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush, Earth Tone Shimmer Gems, Stampin' Seal,  Stampin' Dimensionals

The photo doesn't show it, but I used the Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to add glitter to the foliage.  In person, it's a nice touch.
