Stamping with the STARS #445: Beautiful Butterflies Meets Celebratory Sips!

The DOstamperSTARS are excited to bring you another Stamping with the STARS Inspiration Hop #DOswts445.  Today it’s our pleasure share another Sketch Inspiration with you.

I’ve had the Beautiful Bokeh Suite (originally from Jan-Apr 2025 Mini Catalog) for several months, but hadn’t made anything with it yet.  So I pulled it out thinking the butterflies would look nice.  Sure enough, they did!!

I originally thought I would use the floral pattern from the Celebratory Sips Designer Series Paper.  But it was too busy.  So I turned it over to the orange diagonal striped side and voila, love it!

How’d She DO That? Butterflies Birthday card

• Stamps/Bundles: Beautiful Butterflies Bundle (includes dies & hybrid embossing folder)
• Paper:
  • Berry Burst  (8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ card base, scrap for two small butterfly body die cuts)
  • Bubble Bath (3-1/4″ x 5-1/2″, scrap for 2 small detailed butterfly die cuts, scrap for stamping)
  • Basic White (scrap for long sentiment label die cut)
  • Celebratory Sips Designer Series Paper (3-1/8″ x 5-1/2″)
• Ink:  Berry Burst
• Other:  Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, Strawberry Slush & Pretty in Pink Gems, Stampin’ Seal, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin’ Dimensionals

DOstamping Tips:

• On Bubble Bath scrap, stamp 3 medium butterflies with Berry Burst ink and die cut.
• Adhere Berry Burst body die cuts to Bubble Bath small detailed butterfly die cuts with Multipurpose Liquid Glue
• Arrange and adhere butterfly die cuts as shown (use Mini Dimensionals for small butterflies).
• On white long label die cut, stamp sentiment in center with Berry Burst ink.  The die cut off a portion on the left side to make the label approximately 3-1/4″ long.  Adhere to card with dimensionals.
• Attach a Strawberry Slush & Pretty in Pink Gem to each butterfly.

I’m thrilled with the way this turned out.  I’m sure it will bring a smile to anyone’s birthday, don’t you think?!
