While looking for inspiration on Stampin' Connection (a Stampin' Up! website for demonstrators), I came across a card made by fellow demonstrator Carrie Gaskin. Her use of the Fashionable Hearts Embosslit was pure genius…which was the inspiration for today's card. Take a look at my "Fashionable Hearts Puzzle" card…
I love the look of the "inlaid hearts" to resemble a puzzle, which were cut with Pink Pirouette, Red Glimmer Paper and Very Vanilla. Like I said, "genius"!
I also used the brand new Adorning Accents Textured Impressions Embossing Folder which comes with 3 embossed designs (hearts, bracket edge and scallop edge).

Dawn, I LOVE this card!!! I watched the video, really well done, and like the card even more after seeing it. The vanilla backer piece is a great idea, and putting the Dimensionals way out on the corners for the ribbon to sit under is so much better than my sticking them ON the ribbon (which happens most times). That little puzzle piece assembly was great all by itself because I can see it embellishing a jar of goodies, a box, a cello bag topper …. TFS, Celia

Dawn that is so cute! I was wondering, if you put a piece of Big Shot Multipurpose sticky sheet on that piece of vanilla, would the sticky part showing through be enough to hold the hearts on, instead of using glue dots? I hope SU bring that embosslit to us here in New Zealand so I can try this out for myself!
