Storybook Moments: Hedgehog Friend Card

Today I’m sharing a card I made with the carryover Storybook Moments Suite of products.

Step into a world of folk tales, garden pails, and fuzzy tails with the Storybook Moments.  The patterned paper’s beautiful, hand-painted characters and soft color palette has all the charm of a sweet children’s story.

If you know me, you know that I love hedgehogs!

How’d She DO That? Hedgehog Friend card

• Stamps/Bundles:  Storybook Friends Bundle – includes dies
• Paper:
  • Lost Lagoon (8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ card base)
  • Crumb Cake (3″ x 3-1/4” for frame die cut, scrap for Stylish Shapes small banner die cut)
  • Basic White (scrap for hedgehog)
  • Very Vanilla (1-3/4″ x 2-1/8″)
  • Storybook Moments Designer Series Paper (4″ x 5-1/4″)
• Ink:  Tuxedo Black Memento, Early Express (for sentiment), Crumb Cake (for blending)
• Stampin’ Blends: Petal Pink, Crumb Cake, Pecan Pie, Lost Lagoon, Gray Granite, Old Olive
• Other:  Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, Stylish Shapes Dies, Small Blending Brushes, Pressed Flower Motifs, Stampin’ Seal, Foam Adhesive Strips

DOstamping Tips:

• On 1-3/4″ x 2-1/8″ Very Vanilla, stamp stone “fence” near bottom and color with the following Stampin’ Blends Combo Packs:
  •  Crumb Cake, Pecan Pie, Gray Granite, Old Olive
• Use small Blending Brush to add Crumb Cake ink over details on Crumb Cake die cut.  Add Foam Adhesive Strips around the backside of the frame opening.  Then adhere to Very Vanilla colored piece.
• On scrap of white, stamp hedgehog and die cut.  Then color with the following Stampin’ Blends Combo Pack:
•     Petal Pink, Crumb Cake, Pecan Pie, Lost Lagoon.  Adhere to “scene” with a Foam Adhesive Strip.

I’m super happy with the way it turn out.  What do you think?
