Today I’m sharing 11 Paper Pumpkin Alternatives using the July 2025 Kit, Sweeter With You

July Paper Pumpkin Kit: Sweeter with You

  • Craft sweet handmade cards featuring sun-kissed strawberries and breezy gingham!
  • Makes 8 cards: 2 each of 4 designs with 8 coordinating envelopes
  • Precut paper pieces and vellum accents with hand-painted card base designs
  • Coordinating colors: Garden Green (Classic Stampin’ Spot), Granny Apple Green, Pool Party, Poppy Parade, Strawberry Slush, Timid Tiger

If summer had a flavor, I’m convinced it would taste like strawberries and sunshine!  This month’s Paper Pumpkin kit inspired a burst of berry-themed creativity, and I couldn’t resist whipping up LOTS of sweet alternative projects that celebrate the joy of handmade cards—and the people who make life sweeter.

DOstamping Tips: Hello Friend (makes 2)

  • Cut a 4″ x 5-1/4″ panel from green kit card base.
  • From strawberry plant die cut, trim off lowest hanging strawberry (save for last card below), adhere rest of die cut to panel, trim bottom as needed.
  • Stamp sentiment on kit die cut and adhere to card with Stampin’ Dimensionals with a large strawberry die cut under right edge.
  • Adhere to Poppy Parade folded card base.

DOstamping Tips: Thank You (makes 2)

  • Cut white scallop large label as shown in photo below.  Adhere top and bottom pieces together, overlapping two scallops.
  • Adhere to 4″ x 2-5/8″ cut from green kit card base. Then adhere to folded white card base.
  • Stamp thank you on pink strawberry.  Arrange and adhere strawberries as shown.
  • Stamp sentiment at bottom.
  • Optional: Color Basic Rhinestone Jewels with Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends

DOstamping Tips: Life is Sweeter With You

  • Cut three 1-1/4″ x 1-1/2″ rectangles from green kit card base. Adhere to white scallop large label and then to 4″ x 5-1/4″ Poppy Parade panel.
  • Adhere 3 small strawberries with Stampin’ Dimensionals and attach Basic Rhinestone Jewels as shown.
  • Stamp sentiment and adhere to Thick Basic White folded card base.

 

DOstamping Tips: Your The Best (makes 3)

  • From strawberry kit card base, cut 2″ x 5-1/4″ strip and adhere to folded Pool Party card base
  • Stamp sentiments on scallop circle die and strip of pink.  Arrange and adhere to card along with large strawberry.
  • Tie a small bow into white Baker’s Twine.  Adhere flower die cut to bow and then to card with glue dot.
  • Attach Rainbow Adhesive Dot (yellow) to flower center

DOstamping Tips: Hello

  • Adhere Poppy Parade strips (1-1/4″ x 4-1/2″ and 3/4″ x 4-1/2″) to 3-1/2″ x 4-1/2″ white panel, as shown.
  • From strawberry kit card base, cut 2″ x 5-1/4″ strip and adhere to center of panel.  Adhere panel to folded Pool Party card base.
  • Die cut a white circle and Poppy Parade “hello” using Circles of Seasons dies Add-On.  Adhere together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and adhere to card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Attach Rainbow Adhesive Dot (yellow) to flower die cut center.  Adhere where shown with glue dot.

 

DOstamping Tips: Sweeter With You Color Block 

  • Cut a variety of kit card base patterns into 1-1/4″ x 1-5/8″ rectangles (three of each pattern).  Note: for the Petal Pink cardstock rectangles – stamp flowers with Petal Pink ink.
  • Arrange onto 3-3/4″ x 4-7/8″ white panel, starting at the bottom row and working your way upwards.  Adhere to 3-7/8″ x 5-1/16″ panel (Petal Pink or Pool Party cardstock).
  • Stamp sentiment on white circle die-cut using Circles of Seasons dies Add-On (Petunia Pop or Poppy Parade ink).
  • Attach Rainbow Adhesive Dot (peach/blue) to flower die cut centers.  Adhere where shown with glue dots.

 

DOstamping Tips: Thank You Circles (makes 2)

  • Die-cut using three circles (2 from kit card bases and 1 Petal Pink cardstock) using Seasons dies Add-On.
  • Stamp sentiments with Petunia Pop ink on circle and 3/8″ x 2-1/2″ strip of Bubble Bath cardstock.  Adhere circles and sentiment as shown on 4″ x 5-1/4″ white panel.
  • Attach 2024-2026 In Color Flat Pearls (peach) to flower die cut centers.  Adhere where shown with glue dots.
  • Adhere to Bubble Bath folded card base.

 

 

DOstamping Tips: Sweeter With You Large Strawberries

  • From a kit envelope flap, cut three 1-5/8″ x 2″ rectangles and arrange on white 4″ x 5-1/4″ panel.  Adhere large strawberries with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Stamp sentiment where shown and adhere to folded Pool Party card base.

DOstamping Tips: Love You Lots Small Strawberries

  • Cut vellum scallop rectangle similar to white scallop rectangle from card #2 – HOWEVER, cut lengthwise, cutting off 5 scallops from top and bottom (should leave a 2 scallop scrap section).  Adhere the other two section together to create 5 scallops tall label.
  • From a kit envelope flap, cut three 1-1/4″ x 1-1/4″ rectangles and arrange onto vellum and then to folded thick white card base.
  • Adhere small strawberries with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Note: these are leftover strawberries, including the strawberry trimmed off “plant” die cut from card #1.
  • From leftover middle section of white scallop label (from card #2), trim off one “section” – stamp sentiment with Poppy Parade ink and adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals (edge pieces).

 

DOstamping Tips: Hello Friend Bag (4-3/4″ x 6-1/2″)

  • Adhere a 1-3/4″ x 4-3/4″ piece from pink polka dot kit card to a 2-3/8″ x 3″ piece from green kit card base.
  • Arrange and adhere strawberries in the center of pink strip.
  • Stamp sentiment on kit die cut and adhere to over strawberries with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Adhere entire piece to bag.
  • Optional: Color Basic Rhinestone Jewels with Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends
