Textured Notes: Quick & Cute Thanks!

Today I’m sharing a Quick & Cute Textured Notes Thank You card.

This was one of the first cards I made with the Botanical Textures Suite.  When I first start playing with new products, I often reached for one of my favorite layouts and this one fit the bill!

How’d She DO That? Textured Notes Thank You card

• Stamps: Textured Notes
• Paper:
  • Crumb Cake (8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ card base)
  • Basic White (4″ x 5-1/4″)
  • Early Espresso (scrap for bough punch)
  • Woven Textures Designer Series Paper (1” x 4″ cut right end into banner shape)
• Ink: Crumb Cake, Pecan Pie , Early Espresso (stamp off for the small leaves)
• Other:  Bough Punch (LAST CHANCE), Labeled With Love Punch, White 1/4″ Woven Ribbon, Linen Thread, Neutral Matte Dots, Stampin’ Seal, Glue Dots & Stampin’ Dimensionals

DOstamping Tips:

• The trick to this layout is the “collage” style stamping in the left corner.  The “basket circle” and leafy images from the Textured Notes stamp set are perfect for a collage.
• I often practice with different colors and images on scratch paper first until I’m satisfied with the look I’m going for.
• For the sentiment, I trimmed off the left edge of the Labeled with Love punch out. Then stamped sentiment.
• This ribbon touch, fold 4″ of ribbon in half, wrap linen thread around and tie into a bow. Adhere with glue dot.
