Are you interested in Punch Art? If so…I've got a treat for you today! First off…here's a fun Patriotic Theme Card for you…Uncle Sam, using Stampin' Up! punches!
He was one of four cards we made at my Getting Punchy Summer Stamp Camp last week. Other cards included Tinkerbell, Monkey Tiki Hut & Japanese Doll.
The mustard panel is stamped using the new Red, White & Blue Jumbo wheel from the 2010 Stampin' Up! Summer Mini Catalog. I love the look of the Real Red ink on the Mustard…gives it an "old" look.
See below for the "recipe" card for the punches we used to make Uncle Sam. (NOTE: The Small Star punch is a retired punch)
Stamps: Red, White & Blue Jumbo Wheel (retired)
Ink: Real Red
Paper: Whisper White, More Mustard, Real Red, Night of Navy
Accessories: 1/4" & 1-1/4" Circle Punches, Scallop Circle Punch, Word Window, 1-3/8" Square Punch (retired), Small Star Punch (retired, substitute Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack), Brads
Purchase the supplies to make this project at my ONLINE STORE
Enjoy~Dawn O

So very cute. Too bad I’m not American. I have to think of something Canadian – maybe a moose.
Loved Uncle Sam so much I had to immediately make him. I made one addition though. I used one of the petals from the 5 petal flower punch for his goatee. Thanks so much for the cute idea!
What a fun card! I love using punches. Can we get a peek at the Japanese Doll card?
