Cozy Christmas: Six Paper Pumpkin Alternate Cards

One of my favorite Paper Pumpkin kits that I look forward to each year…is the holiday card kit. The Cozy Christmas Paper Pumpkin kit (October 2025) did not disappoint!

When I make alternatives, I typically try to design two cards for each style of card in the kit. The Cozy Christmas kit made it really easy to design alternate cards. Below you’ll find this month’s designs…enjoy!

✂️How’d She DO That? Merry Christmas Tree cards

  • Paper:
    • Basic White Thick (8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ card base)
    • Garden Green (1-1/2″ x 2″) 
    • Cut kit card base into two pieces of 4″ x 5-1/2″
  • Ink: Cherry Cobbler
  • Other:  Paper Trimmer
  • DOstamping Tip: Adhere tree pieces onto center of Basic Beige kit panel (in landscape position), then cut in half at 2-7/16″. Use scissors to cut star in half.

✂️How’d She DO That? Ornament cards

  • Paper:
    • Basic White Thick (8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ card base)
    • Cut kit card base into two pieces of 4″ x 5-1/2″
    • Cut linen printed kit panel to 2-7/16″ x 4″
    • Pecan Pie (2-5/8″ x 4″) 
    • Garden Green (1-1/4″ x 4″)
  • Ink: Garden Green
  • Other:  Paper Trimmer, Multipurpose Liquid Glue
  • DOstamping Tip: Cut ornament pieces in half and adhere together.

  1. Love your alternatives. I haven’t delved into mine yet. I like the idea of cutting the tree and ornament pieces in half for more cards. Thanks for the ideas and instructions.

  2. Thank you for showing alternates. Sometimes the intended project doesn’t feel “right”, you know? You always come up with genius ideas for cards. I love how you cut the tree and ornament in half. Never would have thought of that. It was the half-ornaments that caught my eye first.
