It's time for another DOstamperSTARS Thursday Challenge. This week we're having a Sketch challenge.
When I saw this week's sketch, I thought I would make a fall-themed card. But for some reason, I was in the Christmas mood. I think it was because I did a holiday card for my local Card Buffet class this week, and still had some of the supplies at the ready. Hope it's not too early for Christmas!
Today's card is a clean and simple card, featuring the new Holiday Catalog paper Season Of Cheer Designer Series Paper. Gotta love that poinsettia pattern! Just a little bit, goes a long way (only 1" x 4") – making this a great card for mass-production. I paired it with Mossy Meadow (3/4" x 4-1/4") and Soft Sky (4-1/4" x 11").

The greeting from Cozy Christmas was stamped with Mossy Meadow ink and die cut with the Tags & Labels Framelits Dies (largest one from the collection that is shown in the upper right corner). This is a must-have framelit set. I reach for it often! Click for more Framelit Measurements.
I felt like the greeting needed a little something else. First I thought maybe I should have inked it with two colored markers, but I wasn't confident that would turn out very successfully. So instead, I reached for the Tree Builder Punch and punched out some flowers. Added Pearl Basic Jewels (this month's VIP Host Code Gift) to the center and adhered them over the flower images in the greeting. Viola…just the right touch to tie everything together!
Stampin' Up! has lots of fabulous products to choose from in the Holiday Catalog. Don't wait too long to get started on your holiday crafting!
Enjoy~Dawn O

Very simple yet very elegant card Dawn! I have that stamp set and the paper for my Christmas projects (haven’t used them yet) and have the new tags and labels framelits and I love them! Now you made me really want to get going on my Christmas stuff too!
Very pretty card!
It’s never too early for Christmas cards, Dawn. I already have 45 of the 90 Christmas/Hanukkah cards made for this year. Already have all 10 of my kiddie Halloween cards for family and extended family made, too. Not that I’m bragging…I’m just so glad I’m not behind as I was last year when I didn’t start my cards until October. That’s a pretty card that you made. Love poinsettias!
