DOstamperSTARS Thursday Challenge #142: NEW Wonderland

It's time for another DOstamperSTARS Thursday Challenge.  This week we're having a Sketch challenge.

I waited until the last minute to make today's card.  Why?  Because I knew I had Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog products being delivered today and I thought it would be fun to use something new!

I never thought I would make a black & white Christmas Card, but this card is stunning (in person).  With the sketch, it came together really fast.  Which is good, as my UPS man came just a couple hours ago!

Here's a closer look as it's hard to see…there is Dazzling Diamonds Glitter on the trees and snowflakes.  It really help sets the mood of the card.  I'm very happy with the way it turned out.  What do you think?

Enjoy!~Dawn O

  1. Beautiful card! I wouldn’t have thought to use black for a Christmas card either. It must be even more stunning in person as one could see the glitter. Can’t wait for the catalogue to arrive!

  2. It is gorgeous on my monitor and has to be stunning up close and personal! Did you have the door open for the UPS man before he got out of the truck? I have seen some preview videos of people’s orders and the stuff they received looks amazing. The black and white is so dramatic! For some silly reason I would manage to put a tiny red cardinal in the corner or on the sentiment just to be different! Sorry, I have been lacking in comments lately…..

  4. Dawn, this is a stunning card. I know I would not be able to make Christmas cards in black and white, but your card is gorgeous in its simplicity. Nice work.

  5. Hi Dawn. Your card is beautiful. Can’t wait to make it using the school colors where my husband works of navy, white & heat emboss the trees silver. Thank you for your inspiration.
