It's time for another DOstamperSTARS Thursday Challenge. This week we're having a "Color My World" challenge.
What a fun color combo we have for you this week! It's actually from the Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper. Can't get enough of that paper. It's a good think it's part of the Buy 3, Get 1 Free Designer Series Paper Sale!
I paired it with the new Merry Cafe stamp set. I haven't had a chance to play with it yet and thought they would go well today. And…it didn't disappoint!
Merry Cafe – Hello Fall
- Adhere 1-3/4" x 4-1/2" piece of Very Vanilla to folded 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" Cajun Craze card base.
- On 1-3/4" x 1-1/2" piece of Very Vanilla, stamp the following Merry Cafe images:
- greeting (Early Espresso ink)
- solid leaves (Cajun Craze stamped off
- outline leaves (Cajun Craze)
- dotted image (ink only one dot with Early Espresso)
- Adhere completed greeting to right side of vanilla strip.
- Stamp Merry Cafe images and die cut the following pieces with Coffee Cup Framelits Dies (as shown in photo below)
- large coffee cup = Early Espresso ink on Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper (included in Buy 3, Get 1 FREE sale)
- lid = Early Espresso ink on Soft Sky cardstock
- heart = Peekaboo Peach ink on Very Vanilla scrap
- cup wrap = Cajun Craze cardstock.
- Use Paper Snips to cut out trio of pumpkins from the backside of the "checkered" paper used for the coffee cup.
- Wrap Linen Thread around coffee cup, thread on tag, then tie in a bow.
- Assemble coffee cup. Then adhere cup and pumpkins to card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
- Attached Metallic Enamel Shape to tag.
Oh my gosh…I'm not sure what took me so long to play with this set. I'm lovin' it! Plus with all of the variety of images for upcoming seasons & holidays, I can see myself reaching for it often! Be sure to added to your Shopping Bag today!
