Fall into Autumn Celebration Week Day 6: Let’s Go Nuts!

Welcome to day 6 of 🍂 Fall into Autumn Celebration Week! Today’s card is extra special, as it’s for my husband’s birthday – tomorrow. Plus, I had a blast creating it with a masking technique that lets these two squirrels share the spotlight.

🐿️ Go Nuts! This whimsical birthday card is full of charm…If you’ve ever wanted to send a birthday greeting that’s equal parts adorable and cheeky, this squirrel-themed card might just be your new favorite.

✂️How’d She DO That? Go Nuts Card

• Stamps/Bundles:  Fluffy Squirrel Bundle – includes punch
• Paper:
  • Pecan Pie (8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ card base) 
  • Basic White (2-3/8″ x 5-1/2″)
  • Early Espresso (2-5/8″ x 5-1/2″) 
  • Crumb Cake (3/4″ x 2-1/8″)
  • Gathering Together Designer Series Paper (3/4” x 5-1/2”)
  • scratch paper: for squirrel punch (to use as a “mask”)
• Ink:  Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, Pecan Pie, Crumb Cake
• Stampin’ Blends: Crumb Cake, Gray Granite
• Other:  Stampin’ Seal, Stampin’ Dimensionals

💡DOstamping Tips:

• On the white strip, stamp the squirrels where shown.
• For stamping acorns, place a punch-out of the squirrel (from scratch paper) over stamped squirrel. Then stamp acorns – also use a punch-out of the acorn (from scratch paper) to stamp additional acorns in both Pecan Pie and Early Espresso.
• Color acorns with Stampin’ Blends.
