Today I'm excited to announce that I'm kicking off a series of How'd She DO That? Fun Fold Videos. Whether it's a fancy card fold or a folded focal point, be sure to check back each week to see what's new.
This week's Fun Fold HSDT Video is an quick and easy one…Origami Shadowbox Fold. It's been many years since I've done one and I thought we'd ease into the series with an easy fold. All you need is a 4" square of Designer Series Paper, bone folder and pencil (optional) – then add it to a card or scrapbook page.
Same card, same paper…just different. What's different? The DSP is folded in the other direction with more of the Daffodil Delight side showing. In fact, that may be the hardest decision you'll have to make with the Origami Shadowbox Fold…which side of DSP to feature.
Be sure to check out the HSDT video with tips and tricks, as well as additional samples.

See you next week for another HSDT Fun Fold video!

Awesome card. So cute and simple. Love it. Thanks for sharing all your HSDT videos.
Dawn,
thank you for the inspiration. I was looking for a different card to use some retired DSP & voila your email came this morning.
Thanx again,
Janice
Thanks for sharing the Origami Shadowbox fold with us. It makes a great center for a card or scrapbook addition and it is so easy!
Dawn. I just tried your Origami Shadow box.it s so easy and cute. I also cut another piece 2×2 and folded the same only paper the opposite and put in the center. Can’t put a centiment but it really looks neat. Thanks for the video. As always a fabulous idea. Thanks, Sharon
Thanks Dawn, this is super cute. Was wondering how you attached the ribbon on the painted petals sample? I’m in Australia and love your generous sharing, thanks again.
Hi Mary – for the ribbon…I just wrapped it around the panel and tied it in a knot. Hope that helps!
