Today I’m sharing a card that blends texture, dimension and thoughtful details – great for any friend. It features the online exclusive Mixed Media Florals Suite.

How’d She DO That? Great Friend card
- Stamps/Bundles: Mixed Florals Bundle – includes dies, Mixed Labels Bundle – includes dies
- Paper:
- Petal Pink (8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ card base, scrap for sentiment label)
- Basic White (3″ x 5″ for stamping/die cutting floral arrangement & ladybug, scrap for sentiment)
- Mossy Meadow (3″ x 5-1/2″ grass die cut )
- Mixed Media Designer Series Paper (4″ x 5-1/4″)
- Ink: Tuxedo Black Memento
- Stampin’ Write Markers: Brights (Daffodil Delight & Flirty Flamingo), Neutrals (Pecan Pie, Crumb Cake, Mossy Meadow)
- Other: Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, Blender Pens, Paper Snips, Petal Pink & White 1/4″ Diagonal Trim Combo Pack, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin’ Seal, Stampin’ Dimensionals
DOstamping Tips:
- Use Stampin’ Write Markers to color as follows:
- Color petals with Daffodil Delight brush tip, but using a quick downward brushstroke. Don’t worry about coloring in the full image, a quick swipe gives you a watercolor look.
- Color petals and ladybug with the Flirty Flamingo bullet point tip
- Colors leaves by scribbling Mossy Meadow brush tip onto a clear block. Pick up color with a Blender Pen and use a quick brushstroke
- Color center of flowers with Pecan Pie brush tip and then use Crumb Cake bullet point to add color to only the “dotted” areas.
The use of Stampin’ Write Markers allows for vibrant, precise coloring, giving the flowers a hand-painted, artistic feel, don’t you think?
