Music Inspiration Challenge

It's time for another Challenge Thursday with my DOstamperSTARS Team!  Today our challenge inspiration comes from the Bing Crosby, Merry Christmas album (chosen by Paula Curtis).

Bing Crosby

Oh my, the memories come flying back just by seeing this album cover.  It was my favorite Christmas album growing up and the very first one I purchased when I was out on my own.  So in celebration of simpler times…here is my clean and simple Merry Christmas card.

026-Bing-Crosby-Mine

Use Stampin' Up!'s 5-Petal Flower Punch (#119880) to punch out Real Red and Garden Green flowers.  Adhere them together with a 5/16" Neutral Brad (#112534) and you've got a quick and easy pointsettia!  Add the greeting inked with markers and, just like that…you're done!

What do you think?  Wanna play along?  Feel free to use our inspiration to make a card of your own.

  2. Oh my goodness, Dawn — you can tell we’re about the same age. This was (I think) the only Christmas album my parents had when I was a kid and we played it a thousand times each year. I can still sing all the songs from heart and yes, it was one of the “must haves” that I purchased on my own when I was out on my own. I still listen to it several times each year — only the medium has changed. Now it’s digitally programed into my MP3. Love the card that you created to go with it! Thanks for the memories, my friend! Blessings, Gretchen
