Pick of the Patch Bundle: Fun Message Delivery Crow

Ha – that title got you, right?  You’re thinking, is there a delivery crow in the Pick of the Patch stamp set?  Take a look…

How cute is that crow delivering the Happy Halloween message?  I had so much fun creating this card using the Pick of the Patch Bundle.  See all of the details below.

How’d She DO That? Happy Halloween Crow card

• Stamps/Bundles:  Pick of the Patch Bundle (includes punch)
• Paper:
  • Crumb Cake (11″ x 4-1/4″ card base, 3/4″ x 1-1/2″ for sign)
  • Basic White (3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″, scraps for pumpkin)
  • Pumpkin Pie (4″ x 5-1/4″, scrap for pumpkin)
  • Pecan Pie (scraps for stems)
• Ink:  Tuxedo Black Memento, Crumb Cake, Pecan Pie, Pumpkin Pie
• Other:  Take Your Pick, Stampin’ Pierce Mat, Stampin’ Seal, Glue Dots & Stampin’ Dimensionals

DOstamping Tips:

• Start by stamping the leaves along the bottom of the white panel with Crumb Cake ink with the Pick Of The Patch stamp set.
• To stamp the “extended branch”: with Pecan Pie ink, stamp the full branch first, the turn the stamp 180 degrees and stamp so the ends meet.  Clever, right?
• I recommend making the sign before stamping the crow, so you know where to position the crow image.  Use the Take Your Pick  tool and
• Stampin’ Pierce Mat to make holes in the sign.  Thread linen thread through the holes and tie off into a over hand knot.  Adhere to card with Stampin’ Dimensionals and glue dot for knot.
• For pumpkins: on white scrap, stamp two smaller pumpkins using Pumpkin Pie ink and Stamping Off technique.  Cut out with
• Pick Of The Patch Builder Punch, also cut a Pumpkin kit large pumpkin and three Pecan Pie stems.
• Arrange pumpkins before stamping “vine” images with Pecan Pie ink and Stamping Off technique.  Then adhere to card.
• Substitute for the Speckled Dots: Use Stampin’ Blends to color the white Classic Matte Dots
