QC Card: Happy Hour Birthday

What's QC?  It's short for Quick & Cute.  If you're like me, many of you are short on time.  We need card ideas that can be done quickly, but still have that cute factor!  Today's card Happy Hour Birthday is just that…quick & cute!

This card has a good layout that could be used with a lot of different images and greetings.  What makes it even quicker, is the focal point.  Just stamp your image, then punch.  I used the Decorative Label Punch, but you could use most any larger size punch.  Pop it up with Stampin' Dimensionals and in no time at all, you've got a QC card!

I'm thinking about making QC cards a weekly feature on my blog.  What do you think?  Do you need quick & cute card ideas?  Let me know.

Thanks for stopping by~Dawn O

Dawn's Product Shares updates

stampin up, dostamping, dawn olchefske, demonstrator, 2013 spring catalog product share

I've been receiving several inquires lately asking if I'm still doing Product Shares, and the answer is yes!

What exactly is a product share?
If you've been eyeing products like Designer Series Paper, ribbon collections, all the wonderful accessories in the Spring Catalog,…a product share might be the answer for you.  A "share" is a smaller portion of those products.  For example – a spool of ribbon is typically 10 yds. Instead, I'll divide the ribbon into 5 shares (2 yds each).  That way – you can have a "taste" of all the colors, instead of just one!

Be sure to check out the availability and reservation information on Spring Catalog and Annual Catalog shares found on my Paper & Ribbon Share Page

  2. Dawn, I really like your card! Even better, I would love to see a series of QC cards! We are all so busy with everyday life that we don’t always have time for a “fussy” card! A QC card is better than not sending one at all! TFS!

  3. Dawn, love your QC card….and who doesn’t
need that type of card. Don’t always have
the time to sit and plan an extravagant
card for birthdays, etc. Many of my cards
are spur of the moment “need” cards, with no
time to fuss. I’d love to see a weekly QC
card feature on your blog. Thanks for the
    suggestion.

  4. Here’s to you for your Q&C card! I love it! I agree with all the above comments. This is really cute and easily changed with colors and drinks….say a beer mug for a man’s birthday. Or, even a little mug with the snowflake during the winter would work. Thanks Dawn – I need a quick card to stick in the mail and this just might do it!Actually, I think it will and I will include a tea bag since it is for an older woman. I still have the set out with the framelit, Thanks Dawn!

  7. Q&C cards are right up my alley….it’s what I like the best about stamping! Also think the “stencil” idea using the white tape from the mini is a great idea, thanks for sharing inspiration on both of those things.
