As promised, here's another Quick & Cute card using the same focal point as yesterday's Secret Garden Feels Goods card and yet, acheiving a different look.
First I want to correct the measurements I shared yesterday. It seems my hands type faster then my brain thinks (anyone else have that problem?) Here's the correct measurements:
- 2" x 3-3/4" Whisper White
- 3/4" x 3-3/4" Tea For Two Designer Series Paper
Are you like me? You've got your stamping supplies out, so you may as well make a second card before putting everything away. For this card, by just rotating the position of the cardstock, the same white and Tea For Two DSP pieces (from yesterday) will give you a completely different look.
NOTE: I did change up the "orange" color for this card and used Tangerine Tango instead of Calypso Coral (don't ask me why…I'm sure I had a pretty good reason at the time). The more I look at the combo below, the more I think Halloween…hmm.
So…let me know which one you prefer?
The landscape QC #1 (right) or portrait layout QC #2 (left)?
Enjoy~Dawn O

I like portrait card the best for two reasons…1. portrait (vertical) card
2. it has green in it (my favorite color)
thanks for sharing,

Both cards are awesome, Dawn! I always love your stuff!
Dawn I love this cards and I love the Secret Garden bundle. There is no way to mess anything when you use this stamps and dies. You can either heat emboss or water color the flowers, you can stamp them on vellum or just like you did today, the results are always gorgeous. Thank you for sharing your creativity and ideas with us every day.
Maria.
For whatever reason, the landscape version stands out more for me, perhaps because I don’t do landscape cards as often as portrait, and like the (to me)-“uniqueness”. They are both very appealing though.
Love both cards but maybe the landscape one a bit more. Agree with Joan in that I might need to orient that way more often plus the color choice seems a bit more soothing. (Although I love the brightness of the contrasting colors as well!)
Thanks everyone for weighing in. I received some private emails as well. It’s kind of 50/50. I have to admit – the landscape one is my favorite!
