I'm starting a new series of videos called, Stamping Basics. I'm excited about these videos as they are for the new and experience stamper alike.
- For the new stamper – they walk you through the basics of stamping, tools, cardmaking etc.
- For the experienced stamper, they will be a great refresher on how to use products that you may not have used in awhile.
My first Stamping Basics Video is Stampin' Around Wheels. I remember when I first started stamping, one of my favorite stamps was wheels. Why? Because they are easy to use and FUN!! However, if you've never used Stampin' Around Wheels, you may not even know how to put them together or ink them, etc. Hence…today's video.

I hope you enjoyed the first of many Stamping Basic Videos.

Thank you~Dawn O

Thanks Dawn. This was very informative. Do you have any hints on alignment?
Also, in the past I’ve kept my Stampin Around Cartridges in a baggie to keep the ink from drying out so fast.
Thanks again, love your blog.
That is a good question. I recommend using a straight edge “tool”. Like a ruler or anything that is straight and has a bit of a raised-up edge to that the wheel can rest against.
Is there anywhere to find instruction on the build-a-wheel? I think that is what it is called.

Yes – I just reposted a past video on Builder Wheels today: http://dostamping.typepad.com/dostamping_with_dawn/2012/10/more-stampin-around-wheels-answers-to-your-questions-1.html
I archive lots of videos, templates, instructions and tips in my DOstamping Resource Library. Check it out here: http://dostamping.typepad.com/dostamping_with_dawn/dostamping-dawn-stampin-up-library-video-tutorial-tips.html
I loved your video Dawn, I’m inspired to dig out my wheels again! Thanks for sharing 😉
THANK YOU so much for your “basics videos”. I look at some of the items in the catalog and haven’t the slightest idea how to use them. Your the BEST!
