Transform Texture Embossing Folders into Stamps!

First off, I need to thank everyone for your wonderful feedback on my Sponged Frame Watercolor Winter Card.  I was overwhelmed by your kind words.  My readers are the best!!

So…if you liked that card, I think you'll like both of today's Watercolor Winter cards too.  They feature an out-of-the-box way of working with your Texture Impressions Embossing Folders.  Anyone can do it – even if you don't have a die cutting machine.

Yes – the background panel on these cards were stamped with the Lacy Brocade Texture Impressions Embossing Folder.  So cool and so easy!

Both of these cards have drawn alot of attention on my display boards at my classes lately.  So I thought I would share a Quick Tip Video on how to transform your Texture Impressions Embossing Folders into Stamps!

eta:  The squares on these cards measure 1-1/2"

Enjoy~Dawn O

  3. BEAUTIFUL cards, Dawn! I do this with my embossing folders, but usually use colored ink. I will try the Versamark because I like the natural, subtle look. I’m sure you know that you can ink it up as you did and run it through your Big Shot to end up with the raised image inked. Just a reminder. Your the best and THANKS for the video. 🙂

  5. Thanks for some more ideas using the Watercolor Winter stamp set. Appreciate the videos so much. Could you do instructions on how to make the half sheet of cardstock box that you used for the Watercolor Winter Box? Thank you.

  6. Hi Dawn,
You always have such wonderful cards! I’m surprised that in the 10+ years I’ve been going to Stampin’ Up! workshops & stamp camps that I’ve never seen this technique! It’s such an awesome idea!!! I have learned so much this past year from you! Thanks for everything.
    Peace, Love & Joy,
