Stamping with the STARS #358: Sketch Inspiration with Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Paper

The DOstamperSTARS are excited to bring you another Stamping with the STARS Inspiration Hop #DOswts358.  This week we’re sharing a super easy & fun sketch.

I was not going to use the Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Paper for this sketch, as I thought you might be tired of me sharing Butterfly Brilliance Collection ideas.  However, I just couldn’t help myself!

Speaking of not being able to help myself…I made 3 cards using the sketch as I could decide what I liked the best.

How’d She DO That Butterfly Bijou sketch cards? 

• Stamps/Bundle: Oval Occasions Bundle
• Paper:
  • Bumblebee, Pool Party, Blushing Bride (4-1/4″ x 11″ card bases)
  • Basic White (4″ x 5-1/4″ and scraps for punches)
  • Butterfly Bijou 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper (two 2″ squares)
• Ink:  Tuxedo Black Memento
• Other:  Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, Brilliant Wings Dies, Double Oval Punch, Classic Label Punch, Black Matte Dots, 2020-2022 In Color Enamel Dots, Stampin’ Seal Adhesive, Stampin’ Dimensionals

DOstamping Tips:

• Each card uses two 2″x 2″ squares of Designer Series Paper.
• Then cut each square on the diagonal to get 4 triangles.  Adhere in each corner.
• Stamp & decorate the center area.

• Get 6 butterflies from one sheet of Butterfly Bijou 6×6 Designer Series Paper.
• Which is why I made these next two cards.
• Change the position of the sketch to landscape for a different look.

I was giddy when these cards were completed.  Not only was today’s sketch quick, but the cards turned out super cute!
