Today’s sketch is a great layout for many Stampin’ Up! images.
I choose to play with the Memorable Blooms Bundle from the Jan-April 2025 Mini Catalog. It was actually one of the first products I purchased because I liked the florals and hexagon dies with detailed peek-through elements.
How’d She DO That? Memorable Blooms Thank You card
- Stamps/Bundle: Memorable Blooms Bundle (includes dies)
- Paper:
- Fresh Freesia (8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ card base, 4″ x 4″ add texture with embossing folder)
- Basic White (4″ square for large hexagon die cut, scrap for stamping)
- Soft Sea Foam (4″ square)
- Adhesive Sheets (4″ square)
- Online Exclusive Lovely Garden Designer Series Paper (DSP)(1″ x 4″)
- Ink: Fresh Freesia, Highland Heather, Tuxedo Black Memento
- Stampin’ Blends: Fresh Freesia, Soft Sea Foam
- Others: Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, Paper Snips, Online Exclusive White 1/4″ Ribbon, Iridescent Faceted Gems, Stampin’ Seal, Glue Dots, Stampin’ Dimensionals
DOstamping Tips:
- Adhere textured Fresh Freesia layer and DSP strip to folded card base.
- On the white hexagon die cut, use Blending Brushes to add Fresh Freesia, Highland Heather inks to approximately where the detailed flowers die cut will be placed (TIP: use the detailed flower hexagon die to eyeball placement).
- Add 4″ square piece of Adhesive Sheet to back of Soft Sea Foam square:
- die cut using BOTH detailed flower hexagon and large hexagon dies (see above). (TIP: run back and forth through die cutting machine 4 times to make sure it cuts through both cardstock and adhesive sheet.)
- Remove adhesive backing from detailed die cut and adhere to white hexagon die cut, then adhere to card.
- On white scrap, stamp double flower and sentiment with black ink. Color flower with Stampin’ Blends and die cut. Fussy cut out “thanks”.
- Add adhesive to back of flower die cut and adhere down 9″ of ribbon into a Z-shape. Then adhere to card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Adhere sentiment to card with Stampin’ Dimensional on left and glue dot on right edge.
- Attach Iridescent Faceted Gems where shown.
