Today's the last day of my DOstamping Two Million Hits Celebration.  I saved the best for last…a Kimono Card and video!  I'm so excited to share this with you guys.  I just know you're gonna LOVE it!

This project is THE MOST REQUESTED PROJECT that I get from YOU, my readers.  Three years ago I shared a picture of a Sock Monkey PJ Card (Kimono style card) I did for a class.  Wow – did you guys like that card.  Ever since then – I continue to receive requests for instructions and I thought, "I better do a video!"  So today is your lucky day!

  6. Oh, my….RIBBON! and the papers are so pretty/cute, too. Berry Blossoms is really, really pretty….definitely at the top of the list, but closely followed by others. I need to get a job…LOL Hubby is going to go broke supporting my crafting habit. LOL He really doesn’t care at all…so, I’m just kidding. Some of my friends’ hubby’s aren’t so kind. LOL

    I haven’t gotten my hands on any of the new dsp yet, however, looking in the catalog I’d have to say Well Worn looks like a winner to me. I like those colors and the worn look, like your favorite blue jeans!

  8. Hi Dawn! I love your blog. You always have the best ideas and are such an inspiration. My favorite DSP, that’s a really hard question. I have it narrowed down to 3, I’m not sure if I can choose beyond that, it’s like picking your favorite child! My top three are: Berry Blosssoms, Domestic Goddess and Mocha Morning Specialty.   10. My favorite would probably be the pattered stacks in any color. I feel most comfortable with the color coordination of the patterned & plain color combinations. Thank you!

  15. I have been really liking the Mocha Morning but I have been playing with apron cards and finding the Domestic Goddess a lot of fun! Congrats of the amount of hits!   17. Oh my! How to choose! I use Frist Edition a lot. I ink it up with different colors to match my project or stamp on it. I especially like the Fabubulous Florets! And then…Pocketful of Posies made a real cute mini album. The papers went so beautifully togther. So…which one is my favorite? The one I need to do my project perfectly!! Love your kimono card.     Hard to choose a favorite DSP, since they are all so gorgeous. I love any with polka dots, so I guess the Patterns Paper Stacks would be my favorite…but Beau Chateau & Mocha Morning have been calling my name, too.

  23. Dawn, before watching today’s video, I hadn’t realized that the Cheerful Treat DSP coordinates with the Borderlines Stamp Set. Since I own that set I want to order that beautiful Cheerful Treat paper, too. I also love Well Worn and Mocha Morning DSP.   29. I think my favorite DSP is Nursery Nest, probably because I love the Aviary stamp set so much! I love the Kimono card! I also love the Sock Monkey robe and slippers card that you made using the same technique…..caYOOT!!

  39. The Paisley Petals is SO FAR my favorite, but that’s because so many talented designers have showcased it so beautifully – and I have used it and loved it’s patterns; but that gorgeous DSP won’t be an “only child” in my play house for long – I see at least ten others that I want to adopt!

  53. I think I’d like to try the kimono card in my favorite-First Edition–for someone like my husband who gets up every morning and reads the Post. It would need some color–have to back it with an accent dsp for contrast, I guess.

  65. My favorite DSP ‘today’ is Spice Cake. I’m ready for fall and cooler weather and making cards with these designs makes me want to plant mums and walk through the fallen leaves in the woods.   67. oh, so hard to choose! It seems to change daily along with my mood. Right no my fav is Beau Château DSP. I’ve never really been into the “shabby” look, but this paper makes it so easy and fun. Ask again next week and I’m sure I’ll have a different answer, as I seem to love them all!

  70. Thank you for the tutorial. LOVED IT! I think my favorite DSP is Well Worn or Paisley Petals. But to be honest, it changes with every new card or idea I see. There are some that I think “not really for me” but see something and go “oh, I love that paper.”

  79. My absolute favorite DSP has got to be the Flurtatious Papers..>OMG….those die cut doilies..and having the opposite side white…so reminds me of my grandma and how she use to crochet doilies. Grandma is no longer with us but using these papers brings back so many wonderful memories of her.
